Your Path to Graduation

Each student works toward proficiency on their Individualized Learning Plan (ILP). While every student must meet every requirement on the ILP, HOW they meet the requirements is unique to each student. 

Common to every ILP:

  • 5 Power Standards

  • A minimum of 24 distribution requirements 

  • Required experiences, including a new student orientation course, peer mentorship, and demonstration of personal growth throughout a student’s career

Earn 1 Power Standard in Each of the 5 Expectations

  • Creating Healthy Life Choices

  • Effective Communication

  • Engaged Global Citizen

  • Expanding Knowledge Base

  • Leadership for Justice

 

Earn At Least 24 Distribution Requirements

  • Earn a minimum of 2 in each Expectation

  • Study across content areas such as: 

    • English

    • Math

    • Science

    • Social Studies

    • Visual Art

    • Music

    • Health and Wellness

Earn All Required Experiences

  • These occur in areas such as

    • Service Learning

    • Peer Mentorship

    • Personal Growth

    • Presentations of Learning (POLs)

 

  • Rites of passage are a core component and include 

    • New Student Orientation Course

    • Mid-career Personal Growth Presentations

    • Graduate Wilderness Experience
